The sand in Lani Kai is so fine that when it sticks to you, you feel like a powdered doughnut.  And I was a little worried that it'd sneak its way into my camera but it didn't and it was well worth hanging out on the beach for the sunset and digging my toes into.

A Katch 1 tag on a street sign in Manoa.  I took a look at his book about a month ago and realized how little of his work I have seen.  The guy is on fire.  His work is so rad it makes me want to start drawing again... Nothing like a little inspiration from another artist to make you want to boost your potential.

The point of this blog is really just to remind myself how lucky I am to live where I do and to try to appreciate the little moments that often pass me by, like this one.  This was taken one sunny day on the way out to the sandbar.
