The point of this blog is really just to remind myself how lucky I am to live where I do and to try to appreciate the little moments that often pass me by, like this one.  This was taken one sunny day on the way out to the sandbar.

I want to sit here and smell that salty air while that intoxicating Hawaiian breeze rummages through my hair.   I love Hawaii.

On this solo trip to Big Island I felt completely comfortable to pull over whenever I wanted.  From a flower petal to a weird looking road and to these sheep.  And on this endless field of green I had to sneak a shot of them grazing, lookin' all furry and cute.

The mountain tops of Hawaii are usually always dusted with clouds but that's what makes them so green and lush.  I'm dying to get to master the Stairway to Heaven hike and see for myself what it feels like to be on top of the Pacific.
